Digital Twin for Gas Turbine Performance, Diagnostics and Life Assessment
SHORT COURSES

Digital Twin for Gas Turbine Performance, Diagnostics and Life Assessment

Description

Digital Twin technology is transforming the way gas turbine engines are designed, operated, and maintained. By combining high-fidelity physics-based or data-based models with real-time operational data, Digital Twins enable enhanced performance prediction, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and prognosis, and life-cycle optimisation. This short course provides a comprehensive introduction to Digital Twin concepts and their application to gas turbine systems, bridging fundamentals with practical implementation. The course draws on industrial best practice and current research to demonstrate how Digital Twins could be deployed across the gas turbine life cycle, from design and certification to operation and through-life support.

Course Endorsement

This course is delivered under the ISABE Education Portfolio in association with Cranfield university and experts drawn from Industry. It aligns with ISABE’s objective of promoting the international

exchange of knowledge in air-breathing propulsion and supporting continuing professional development for engineers and researchers.

This CPD programme is organised under aegis of ISABE by Dr Abdulla Alseiari, Alt National Representative for UAE on the board of ISABE.

Dr. Abdulla Alseiari
